Charitable Gift Annuity as a Pledge

Yes it is possible, but it might not be the Best Practice for your specific org.  Poke at your Finance dpt., see how they want you to handle this...


Do you have an installment schedule for this annuity?  If you don't know when the disbursements occur, nor do you know exactly how much, it would probably drive you crazy keeping track of this gift as a Pledge because it's going to come up in your reports as predicted income!  


But if you DO know all this, then you totally could enter it as a Pledge, and then the payments are Pledge-Pay Cash, you just need to make sure that anyone and everyone involved with reporting at your org. understands that RE will report on it, unless you take the steps to filter it out.  :)
