RELO Plug in

When processing constituent information in the plug in, I got a message that said: There are no differences between the new constituent record and the auto-matched constituent record. What is the best practice - to regret the update or process the update?

Hi Natalie! First off, I see this is your first post. Welcome to the Blackbaud Community! Were you able to find an answer to this question? If not, I can try to connect you with someone who may be able to help out.

Hi Natalie! My name is Jeremiah Swann and I am a consultant with our Professional Services - Technical Services team. The short answer to your question is that you want to process these updates. I want to provide some additional information to help explain why this may occur:
    Blackbaud Knowledgebase says:

When processing constituents in the Luminate Online plug in, users may encounter the following message:

"There are no differences between the new constituent and the auto-matched constituent record"

There will then be no fields listed under Constituent Information and no changes or updates to process in the plug in.

This can occur if a record that was sent down to the Luminate Online plug in for The Raiser’s Edge has been edited since it made it to the plug in. For example, if a user manually edits an email address for a constituent in Luminate Online, this will prompt the record to be sent to the plug in. If another user then manually updates the email on the Raiser’s Edge record for that constituent, it will still be in the plug in, but will display this message to indicate that there are no differences since they were manually entered. This is standard functionality and the message appears to explain why there are no fields available under the Constituent Information section for the record in the plug in.
