Email-Addresses tab check marked but contains no data - suggestions?

Not a huge deal but it has me scratching my head. I have an individual record that has the little red check mark on the "Email Addresses" tab, yet when I open that tab there is no info - so why is the checkmark there? 


I've tried highlighting and deleting the empty line - check mark is still there. There are no email addresses in the associated relationships or in the alternate address listed, so I 'm at a loss as to why the checkmark is there and why I can't make it go away...

    Likely, an inactive email address is the culprit. Check the box to "Show inactive phones and emails."

    Jennifer is probably correct.  That checkbox (to Show Inactive Phones) doesn't stick, either, so beware!  If you close a record with the box checked and open another record, that box will be unchecked.  If you cycle thru a query of records using Next/Previous Record, it will stick as checked.  Frustrating.  And part of the reason I don't use the Inactive box (still working thru cleanup).  Instead, I use a different Phone Type altogether (started this before 7.94 was announced).

    The most annoying thing is that I don't mark as inactive either - so I never think to check the box to show the inactives. Thanks for the help!
