Event Sponsorship Form with multiple sponsorship benefits

Options
Hi there!  I'm creating an event sponsorship form in Online Express-Events.  Each sponsorship level has multiple benefits assocaited with it that need to be listed.  I am able to type the entire sponsorship description in the Description field but when I go to preview the form 1/3 of each description is missing.  Is there a "number of characters" limit in the Description field?

Thanks for your help!

  • Did you get any help with this? I have the same question.

    Thanks,

  • Hi Lori and Dana,

There is a character limit on the form. My suggestion would be to have any of the registration information live on your website above the actual online express event form. That way you keep the online form clean and simple but you still provide all the good registration information above the form.

    I hope that helps!

  • Hi Lori,

I actually did a chat into Blackbaud
support.  They did help me.  The gentleman I spoke to
said he was able to increase the character limit.  I had
already gone in and shortened the verbiage a  bit so unless I
count each one (I really don’t have time to do that) I’m not sure
if what he did helped or if I did.  I was on a timeline with
the form so I needed it live as quickly as possible. Maybe after
the event, I’ll go back and look at the number of characters and
see if it did actually increase.   We use Blackbaud’s
Events so we have all the information on the form, not some on the
form and some on our site, so the suggestion from Michelle isn’t an
    option for us.

    Hope that helps!

    Dana
