Solicit Code for Alumni who are not invited to events

Aloha RE Community, 

We had a rambunctious class of 2016 and we would like to not include certain, naughty, individuals in our alumni communications for a set time period. We're thinking five years, until they've matured a bit, hopefully graduated from college, and ready to be a productive member of our alumni association.  

Our current mode of handling "Do Not Contact" is using the solicit code field, but of course there is no way to include a date on these. We could use the Attributes tab but it would require a whole new process/ procedure to be set into motion. 


Any idea's? Is Attributes our only option? Is Attributes our best option?

    You'd have to add it for your filters, but how about another solicit code: "Do Not Contact Until 2021." smiley  Include the date in the code.


    Agree, it's nice to keep it in one field vs adding attribute filters.

    Add another Solicit Code to the Table that says No Invites 2016 to 2021.  Then they can be excluded and you know when to remove the ban and the Code from their records and the table.

    Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I had originally planned on adding the end date to the specific solicit code, but thought that it would make everything so messy. Since I have two wonderful brains telling me this is the way to go, it sounds like a plan!
