Credit Card Processor

Does anyone know how I figure out what credit card processor (not sure if that is the right term but whatever IATS is) our Luminate Online system uses? Is this in settings somewhere or is it something I need to contact support about?

If you have access, you can find this under Setup > Payment Capabilities.

They check it for you in Chat Support easily.

Do we have any control over the Merchant Gateway and Payment Processor that is tied to Luminate and if so how do we make changes?

I did find out we currently have ClearCommerce and First Data Merchant Services respectively but no one here knows how we got them, did someone way back choose them or did they just get assigned to us?

I'm guessing someone chose them.

I'm pretty sure you can use any merchant provider you like. Contact your CSM to get the set-up quoted. I think that BBMS has a cheaper set-up fee than BB charges for other 3rd party providers.

Regardless of who you go with, you'll have those sustainer migration issues to consider.

I'm assuming by "sustainer migration issues" do you mean that we would need sustainer donors to re-sign up/give their credit card information again if we went with a new service?

In other words the gifts do not just transfer over do to PCI compliance with the credit card information

There are ways to migrate them without getting the donor involved, but it's not fun. I think that BB has a migration tool, but only for one or two providers.
