Limiting # of Registrants allowed - Event Registration Form

With the new event registration form, does anyone know how to limit the number of registrants per ticket type? For example, we have  a young profressional ticket tier that we would like limit to 2 tickets per transaction, while the VIP ticket tier wouldn't have a limit. 


Is this possible?

     I don't think you can. We have had this problem before. Unless the new form has incorpoarated some new features, I believe that you can limit the overall number of registrants, but not those of specific types.


    I've tried to figure out a way around this and the closest I can come is created seperate events for each tier, but that creates other problems and we would rather have just one event.

    I believe you can do this.  In the event registration part, you have to edit the event and then in event price options, for each pricing tier you've created you can define the max registrants per transaction.

    Hi Rebel,


    We can use the event registration form (classic) to limit the number of registrants per ticket type. This option can be found under 'Pricing Options' in the part editor, you can set the 'Max Units' to the maximum amount of registrants you will allow per checkout for each pricing unit.
