Test emails not sending

Have been trying to send a test email through Online Express (OLX) for the past few hours. Have not received any emails in either my inbox or junk mail (sending to two different email addresses). Is there an issue with OLX today? Should I just wait it out?

  • I've been having the same issue!! Been trying to send test emails since 7pm and not receiving anything.
  • The test emails finally came through...at 11pm last night!  It can really be an inconvenience when you have to send out email blasts quickly and want to make sure all links work and the formatting is correct.  
  • We've had quite a few cases on this somewhat recently.  The usual issue seems to be prevelent with organizational email addresses (@name.org). For just about every case, they needed to have their IT department whitelist all of our IP ranges for our outbound email servers.  I believe we added another IP range somewhat recently that could explain the intermittent behavior.  Here is that article with all of the listed ranges to whitelist:

  • We had the same issue that day. Email was scheduled to go out at 5-something p.m. but didn't send. We called Blackbaud, and they said it was because their server was busy. Our emails finally delivered at 11:37 p.m. Not good when you have time-sensitive material to communicate.
  • Agree 100%...it's when you need the e-blast to go out urgently to donors, board members, etc.  I have to say that the previous program I used, Constant Contact, I NEVER had an issue.  BB needs to do better as this is an expensive product.  Although a major feature OLX has that Constant Contact does not is that OLX links directly to RE.
