Zero users in group

I uploaded a file of 2000+ contacts as I've done before but this time, it shows only 500 contacts. I've refreshed multiple times, logged in and out, but no change. And I'm certain there weren't 1500 failed emails - these emails were reviewed and edited by many staff members prior to upload. Also, on the page where it lists all Groups, it doesn't have a description underneath where it states how many are in the group. Very strange. Needing help asap as I'm trying to send out a very important email tomorrow (5/17). Thank you!

  • Hi Jessica,


    Locate the group you imported the contacts into. In the action column, click Edit.


    On this page, in the right column, there will be a link to 'Refresh Summary' underneath the last update date. Click that link.


    A message in green will appear: 
    The request to update group summary information has been submitted. Revisit the page to view the updated information.

    Depending on how big your group is this might take a minute. You will need to click somewhere else in Luminate and then come back to this page to see the updated group statistics.(Note: I usually click the members tab and then come back to this page)

    You can also view an Errors report on the upload itself, which will explain why some constituents did not uplaod successfully. Click onto the "Operations Reports" tab on the Import/Export page. In the Actions column, there are two buttons - "View Report" & "Errors". The Errors button will link you to the Errors report download.

  • Thank you for your help. End result is that I needed to be more patient. :) It took more than 48 hours to upload all of the contacts.

    Thanks, Josh!  It turns out that the upload took a lot longer than I expected. I had uploaded a couple thousand contacts and it just took a couple days for them all to show in the system.

    That seems like a really long time to upload 2k constituents. We import constituents all the time with varying sizes and it hasn't taken 48 hours. Longest it took for 200k was about an hour.


    Maybe ask support why that is.
