Best practices for split proposals

My organization will often offer donors split asks to multiple funds or campaigns.  We would like to have 1 proposal record for this split ask, but there isn't a way to do this in RE 7. The reason for this is for ease of access to the giving officers and for accurate reporting on # of proposals and # of actions per proposal. 


Does anyone have a creative workaround for split proposals?  The best I could think of was creating a series of attributes (i.e. Split 1 amount, split 1 purpose, split 1 fund, split 1 campaign, split 2 amount... etc)

    Not sure I can call this a 'best practice' but we've developed a work around for us.


    We have a fund called 'PROPOSAL USE ONLY: Multiple Programs - See Notes' Anyone entering a proposal knows to enter additiona information into the proposal note field. 


    It's not ideal, but it's working for us so far. Following to see if anyone else has a better work-around!

    If you haven't posted this in the RE:7 Idea Bank (or found an existing Idea that includes this), then I suggest you do so.  Then be sure to list the link to the Idea here in the Community thread so others can easily navigate to it and add votes.


    Not sure this is something that is feasible in RE:7, but it could be possible in RE:NXT.  I like this idea, as we've just had to use notes.
