Direct debit processing time lagging in BBMS when sent from RE Batch?

Hi all, having a reconciliation issue here.

We receive direct debit donations via Online Express and process them in RE database view Batch. We're used to the the Pending Date assigned in BBMS being a reliable predictor of the disbursement date, but for the past couple months, some direct debits have been depositing a week later than usual, and there doesn't seem to be any field in BBMS that allows us to assign a reliable disbursement date range at entry time.

Is anyone aware of any advance notice of the processing delay or any workarounds that prevent it from impacting reconciliation?

  • @John Demarce Have you already checked with the payment services team at BB?

    I have seen direct debits process with a delay, but if it is causing issues for reconciliation, I would reach out to them directly.
