How do I test Discounts in the TeamRaiser application?

After associating one or more discounts with a participation type, you can verify that a discount is available to constituents as follows:

Note: You must have a user-side link to the TeamRaiser, the TeamRaiser

must be accepting Registrations, and the Discount must be active.

1. Log off as an Administrator.

2. Click the user-side link to your TeamRaiser.

3. Click on the link to Register as an individual.

4. On the Select a Participation Type page, observe the following:

- If you have configured a discount that applies either a fixed amount or a

percentage to the registration fee, the discount will be shown to the user.

- If you have configured a discount that requires a discount code, you will

see a request for that code beneath the participation types. The actual

discounted registration fee will show up on the next screen if the

appropriate code is entered.
