How can I move a team from one teamraiser event to another teamraiser event?

Part I: Move the participants from the Old TeamRaiser to the New TeamRaiser

1. Create a new team on the New TeamRaiser by creating an offline registration with a $0.00 fee for the team captain.

Go to Fundraising > TeamRaiser > select Manage on the New TeamRaiser > select the link for Register a New Participant.

2. Perform the same function above for all remaining team members in the Old TeamRaiser by registering them to the New TeamRaiser. Again, make sure that their registration fee is also set to $0.00

Part II: Transfer the Team page contents from the Old TeamRaiser to the New TeamRaiser.

1. Open the TeamPage in the Old TeamRaiser by going to Fundraising > TeamRaiser > select Manage on the Old TeamRaiser >

go to the Teams tab > select Manage on the Team Name > click on the Members tab > select Edit on the Captain's Name.

You will be on the registration record of the Team Captain. On the right-hand side, you will see the link to EDIT the "Team Page."

2. Open the TeamPage in the New TeamRaiser by going to Fundraising > TeamRaiser > select Manage on the New TeamRaiser >

go to the Teams tab > select Manage on the Team Name > click on the Members tab > select Edit on the Captain's Name.

You will be on the registration record of the Team Captain. On the right-hand side, you will see the link to EDIT the "Team Page."

3. Copy the contents from the Old Team Page to the New Team Page.

Part III: Transfer the Participant page contents from the Old TeamRaiser to the New TeamRaiser.

1. Open the Participant Page in the Old TeamRaiser by going to Fundraising > TeamRaiser > select Manage on the Old TeamRaiser > go to the Teams tab > select Manage on one of the Team name > click on the Members tab > select Edit on one of the members.

You will be on the registration record of that team member. On the right-hand side, you will see the link to EDIT the "Personal Page."

2. Open the Participant's Page in the New TeamRaiser by going to Fundraising > TeamRaiser > select Manage on the New TeamRaiser > go to the Teams tab > select Manage on Team Name > click on the Members tab > select Edit on one of the members.

You will be on the registration record of the team member. On the right-hand side, you will see the link to EDIT the "Personal Page."

3. Copy the contents from the Old Participant Page to the New Participant Page.

Part IV: Transfer the donations from the Old Team to the New Team.

1. Go to Fundraising > TeamRaiser > select Manage on the Old TeamRaiser > select the Team tab > select Manage on the Team Name > on the Gift Tab > select View/Edit on any gifts "On Behalf of TEAM'.

NOTE: If no team gifts appear, go to Part V.

2. Record the information such as name, email address, gift amount, and date.

3. Go to the Transaction tab of the Constituent record that gave the team gift. Select to Soft Credit the Transaction to the new team in the New TeamRaiser.

Part V: Transfer the registration fees and donations from Team Members and Team Captain.

1. Go to the registration record of a team member by going to Fundraising > TeamRaiser > select Manage on the Old TeamRaiser > go to the Teams tab > select Manage on the Team Name > click on the Members tab > select Edit on one of the members.

You will be in the registration record. Manually record the names, email address, gift date, and gift amount of the donations give to this team member.

2. You will then need to delete the registration record for this team member. You will see a link in the registration record that says "Make Inactive". Click on that link. Once you confirm to make them Inactive, you will see a new link "Delete Registration Record".

Click on that link, but make sure you do NOT refund the gift amount to the donor, but instead keep the donation.

3. Once the registration record has been deleted, you will need to go the Transaction tab of the Constituent record of the team member. You will select to Soft Credit the transaction to the same team member that is associated with the New TeamRaiser.

4. Go to the Transaction tab of the Constituent record of the names you recorded in Step 2. You will Soft Credit the donations to the team member that is associated with the New TeamRaiser.

5. Perform Steps 1-4 for each team member. The system will only allow you to delete the registration record of the team captain once all team members have been deleted. Once you delete the registration record of the team captain, the team will be deleted as well.

Part VI: Contact Convio Customer Support to change the team member donation into a TeamRaiser registration fee in the New Team Raiser for each team member. Please provide Convio Customer Support with the New TeamRaiser Name, the participants name and email address, and the transaction number that needs to be changed to a registration fee.
