The Opportunity:

The University of Central Florida is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our Advancement Operations team as the Manager, Business Intelligence and Analytics. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of analysts to strategically optimize the Blackbaud CRM system, enhance data infrastructure, and provide accurate and actionable insights to deepen supporter engagement and strengthen fundraising efforts.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

Manage and lead a team of business intelligence professionals, including data analysts, data engineers, and data scientists.

Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the team's success in delivering high-quality insights and reports.

Monitor and report on key performance indicators, ensuring the team meets established goals and objectives.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Oversee the design and implementation of robust data analysis and reporting processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure availability of accurate and relevant data for analysis.

Data Visualization:

Drive the development of effective data visualization techniques and tools to communicate insights in a clear and concise manner.

Ensure delivery of actionable reports and dashboards to stakeholders at various organizational levels.

Business Partnerships:

Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and business unit managers.

Understand their needs and provide strategic guidance on leveraging business intelligence for decision-making.

Technology Evaluation and Implementation:

Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the business intelligence space.

Evaluate and recommend appropriate tools, platforms, and systems to enhance data capabilities.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process optimization and automation.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 10 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Computer Science, Statistics, or Data Science.

Proven experience (typically 8+ years) in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field, with progressively increasing responsibilities.

Experience with Blackbaud CRM, Blackbaud NXT, Raiser's Edge, or similar CRM systems.

Strong leadership and managerial skills, with a track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing teams.

Expertise in designing, reporting and delivering analytical solutions and analysis using tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.

In-depth knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL processes.

Familiarity with advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling, data mining, and statistical analysis.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong business acumen and the ability to translate business requirements into data-driven insights and recommendations.

Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing relationships with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.

Familiarity with data governance and regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, FERPA, HIPAA) is preferred.

Certifications in business intelligence, data management, or related areas are a plus.

Strong negotiating and consensus building skills.

Special Instructions to the Applicants:

While the full salary range of the position is $75,809 - $113,714 the anticipated salary for a well-qualified candidate is $85,285 - $104,238.

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. Remote work option with supervisory approval and in accordance to UCF policy.
