VCU’s Office of Development and Alumni Relations (DAR) is seeking a detail-oriented, collaborative and resourceful Senior Gift Analyst to join the Gifts and Records Management (GRM) team within Advancement Solutions. GRM is responsible for gift processing, including recording and receipting gifts in accordance with IRS regulations, Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) standards and university policy, ensuring every gift reaches its specific purpose and our appreciation to our generous donors is acknowledged, maintaining accurate donor and alumni data, and managing the gift acceptance and agreement process for VCU and its affiliated foundations.

As a Senior Gift Analyst, you will support students, faculty and patients by collaborating with all areas of DAR and VCU affiliated foundations to facilitate the accurate and timely recording of all gifts. Gift entry is complex work where the details matter. You will be responsible for analyzing gifts to ensure accuracy and serve as a resource for other teammates as they review complex gifts. We are always open to improving processes and we’ll look to you to identify where we can update policy or procedures so we can work together efficiently. Hybrid position. Must be within commuting distance to Richmond, VA and available to come into the office when needed.
