How do you mark a gift not receiptable when confiming a gift in Team Raiser, a gift is being entered from a group of people and therefore a tax receipt would not be issued?

Hi Cathy,

 

There is not built in functionality to distinguish between a "receiptable" confirmed offline gift and a "non-receiptable" confirm offline gift at the time of gift entry/confirmation.  You can toggle this function within reciept manager.

 

My suggestion is that while you a entering in your confirmed offline gifts, hold all your non-receiptables until the end.  Once you've completed all your receiptable gifts, go into the reciept manager and toggle the reciepting option to not reciept offline gifts.  Now you can enter in your non-receiptables without sending a receipt.

 

Be sure to remember to change the setting back so you are good to go with your next batch of receiptable gifts.
