Milestones Triggered by Number of Emails sent

Options

I would like to expand the number of badges our participants get and I noticed that another organization has badges for people who have sent a certain number of emails, are captains of their teams, etc. When setting up our milestones I noticed that they were only based on amount raised.  Is there a way to make it more specific to email, captains, etc? I'm supplying the link to the organization who has awarded their participants more than just donation based milestones: http://events.animalhumanesociety.org/site/PageNavigator/wfabadges

Thanks,

Elizabeth

    Elizabeth,

Out of the box the only badges you can do are the ones based on fundraising milestones. What Jon did at AHS is some very slick customization with some javascript or jquery work. He setup several tasks that group people based on the number of actions they've taken for a certain element and then used some snazzy coding to render the badges associated with those groups. So if a participant is in a group then it will render the corresponding badge in that rotating element. You might reach out to Jon and see if he can give you any tips on how to do this or get it started.

    That's a great idea.

I bet you could disable the default badge display and build a complete replacement with stags and some html fairly easily and eliminate the need for jquery to inject the code for the added badges into the Convio generated badge html.

You could have badges for all kinds of things. Anything that a query built group or simple S-tag could return.
