Active Page

Options

Recently, we received a Usage statement letting us know that we exceeded our limit of Active Pages. After contacting the Support Center, I archived the extra pages.

My question is: When I copy a TeamRaiser to create a new event, do I automatically create new active pages? What is the definition of an active page? Is there a place where I can see the number of pages that are active?

    Jacinthe,

Your TeamRaiser pages do not count against your active page limit. That is only for your PageBuilder pages. Now if you create new PageBuilder pages for your event then that will count against your contracted active page limit.

To see your active number of pages you can do a couple of things. One thing is to go to "PageBuilder" section of your admin tool and make sure the "Show Archived Pages" box isn't checked. Then on the PageBuilder main page you'll see how many records of pages you have (make sure there is nothing in the search field). This will show you the number of pages you have that are not archived. Then you can go to the "PageBuilder Reports" tab and run a  "Pages Offline but not Archived" report. This will show you all of the pages that are not archived but still showing in your list. Take this number from this report and subtract it from the total number of records for your PageBuilder pages.

One thing to note is that there is a percentage of your PageBuilder pages that must be published because they are used by Luminate. Such as the admin homepage. Blackbaud has a certain percentage of allowable pages for things like this but it really depends on your site setup and other variables such as whether you're a multi-center client and such. But for the most part, if you do the reporting like I walked through above you should be able to make sure you don't go over your page limit. Finally... If you do have any concerns about how close you are to going over, just reach out to Support or your Account Manager and they can let you know.

I know this can be a surprise. When I was on the client side we had a contract for 300 pages and when I came on board I got a letter saying we had nearly 900. Things were different back then and Blackbaud now does a much better job letting you know when you're exceeding your contracted limits.

Hope this helps. Let me know if I can be of further help.

    Kent
