Seeking Sky API Developer to Create a Calculated "Engagement Score" in RENXT

About GO2 for Lung Cancer:

We are a nonprofit dedicated to fighting lung cancer through a variety of initiatives. One of our current high-priority projects is measuring and increasing Community Engagement (CE). To this end, we are seeking to create a unique engagement scoring system that tracks and helps to foster participation and involvement.

Project Overview:

The goal of this project is to calculate an "engagement score" based on various pieces of data within our Raiser's Edge NXT (RENXT) database. This score will reflect our community's involvement in different activities. For example:

  • Signing up for our newsletter: 1 point
  • Attending a 5K event: 5 points
  • Making a donation: 2 points

These data sources will all be within RENXT and many of them will be custom fields. Some of them will update in real-time. Others will be imported via CSV periodically.

The ideal method would be a simple custom field that calculates the score for each constituent record based on our point system. We have the point system in a spreadsheet that will be shared with the developer. We are not sure if this can be done directly in RENXT or if we'll need to leverage external tools and integrations (e.g. Power Automate, Airtable, Power BI, etc).

We think that Power Automate coupled with Sky API development may be the most straightforward solution, but we are open to any solutions that can achieve the end goal efficiently.

Our preference would be to be able to edit and update the scoring system ourselves in the future, without the need for additional custom development.

Timeline:

We'd like to complete this in the next couple of weeks, but understand that scheduling and time-constraints on the developer's side may be a factor.
