Development and Operations Coordinator
In-office or hybrid work environment.
Gift Processing/Database Management makes up almost 1/2 of this role.
· Gift Entry:
Complete gift entry forms for all donations and create copies of all checks.
Create gift batches in Raiser’s Edge and generate and print batch control reports and cash receipts journal reports.
Gift Reports:
Prepare gift reports regularly, include all gift information including donor, date, amount, campaign, fund, appeal, and letter.
Donor Acknowledgements:
Print donor acknowledgement letters for all donations, using mail merge templates.
Mail all letters within 24-48 hours of gift receipt and after mailing letters, mark gifts as acknowledged in RE database.
· Pledge Reminders and Collection
Provide CAO monthly outstanding pledge reports, tracking pledge due dates
Manage collection/restructuring of past due pledges with CAO/relationship manager.
· Financial Reporting
Other 1/2 of the job consists of the following:
Administrative
· Board of Directors Management
Assist CAO/CEO with preparing materials for Board members for bimonthly meetings.
· Weekly Team Meeting Preparation/Execution
· Office Supplies Ordering
Occasional support required for annual events during evenings and weekends.
Other
· Communications content advisement and review, as assigned.
· Email setup and distribution, as assigned.
· Special Events Support
Provide support as needed for all annual and special events including, but not limited to:

Contact and mailing information
Event invite/registration/attendance lists
Event participant research
Volunteer and event coordination
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree plus minimum of two years of relevant work experience, or Associates degree plus minimum of four years of relevant work experience
· Relevant experience includes:
o Flexibility to support a fast-paced work environment
o Donor relations and outreach, primarily with new donors, consistent donors, and recurring giving prospects
o Experience with nonprofit donor database management
o Keeping development operations standard operating procedures updated, annually, at a minimum, and overseeing their evaluation and execution
o Updating written procedures regarding donor database management and training Development staff in the database as appropriate
o Providing reports for senior staff including philanthropic revenue, progress toward fiscal year private revenue goals, cash received, pledges paid or overdue
o Partnering with Development and Finance on reconciliations and audits of private philanthropic pledges, donations, grants, and sponsorships
o Supporting leadership in setting and achieving fiscal year philanthropic revenue goals
