Samaritas hiring a Director, Personal Giving in our West Michigan area. This role is near fully remote to someone residing withing the West Michigan area.

This role oversees the planning, implementation and solicitation of individual gifts within assigned portfolio of donors and prospects. Cultivates major donor relationships that support the organization's mission and vision.

Job Qualifications

Education, Training, and Licensure/Certification

• Bachelor's degree in Philanthropy, Business, Management, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, English or related field
• Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) certification preferred

Experience

• Five years' experience in managing mid to high-level donor relationships with demonstrated success in closing five and six figure gifts
• West Michigan experience preferred
