The Resource Development Manager supports the various functions of Cornerstones’ Resource Development Team. Priority responsibilities include creating and maintaining constituent records within the donor database (Raiser’s Edgy NXT) in an accurate, consistent, productive and service-oriented manner. The Resource Development Manager is responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the donor database through the oversight of policies and procedures. Additionally, the Manager proactively supports the efforts of the Cornerstones’ Resource Development team by producing and analyzing donor and development reports, oversight of cash and credit card donations and gift and records reconciliation and audits. The Resource Development Manager is the gatekeeper of the database and will work closely with team members for gifts-in-kind, volunteers and events modules to integrate and oversee record integrity and analysis. The Resource Development Manager works proactively with the department and CS leadership team to effectively steward donors, suggest engagement opportunities and provide support for the team and organization’s participation in year-round events and community activities.

Experience and Skills

  • Proficiency in the use of word processing, spreadsheet and database software; experience with Raiser’s Edge highly preferred.
  • Strong verbal, listening and written communications skills.
  • Experience with a development or CRM database plus advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent keyboarding skills with the ability to produce high volume, high-quality data.
  • Affinity for and facility with numbers.
  • Solid written and oral communications, organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong attention to follow-through.
