Milestones for "in between" fundraising levels--how designate?

Options

For Participant Milestones in Teamraiser, the help file says the milestone badge will be removed once someone exceeds the milestone level and that we should have another badge ready ("For example, if a badge icon displays for the $500 milestone, there should also be badge icon for $501 (and above) otherwise participants who raise at least $501 will not see a badge at all.")

The problem is, I don't see how to designate a badge for "$X and above." If I have a milestone at $100, and one at $200, I would also need a $100+ badge  to cover the range from $101 - $199. How do I designate such a range?

The language in the help file might have been a little misleading.

The badge will remain until the next milestone is earned. So once someone gets a $100 donation they'll get the $100 badge and it'll remain there when they get a $50 gift bringing them to $150.  Once they hit the next badge threshold ($200) they'll get the next badge and the $100 one will go away.  The range is build into the system, just not clearly defined that way.

I think the "have another badge ready" language meant that if you're going to have another milestone it'll need to have a badge associated with it or no badge will appear at all.  For example if you set up a $100 badge and then a milestone for $200 wtih no badge associated with it, the $100 badge will go away and nothing would appear anymore.

A good thing to do would be to setup a test account and enter a couple offline donations for that account and see what happens to the badges as they progress. Just be sure to delete those offline donations so they don't throw off your financial reporting.
