Change a participation type with a registration fee difference

Hi,

I have someone who wants to change from a participation type where there is no registration to a participation type with a registration. I figured out how to change the participation type but not how to charge the registration fee!! Anyone know how to do this?

There is not a way to add a reg fee when you switch a participant to a different participation type that I'm aware of. You may be able to open a Support case and ask them to configure the participant record to show they submitted their registration fee. The easiest option would be to delete the existing participation and create a new one, however, if this participant's page has been active and they have been sending emails and such then that shouldn't be done.

 

If you can't just start over with this participant's registration then the only step left would be to contact Support and see what they can do.
