Bradenton Christian School, established in 1960, exists to prepare the hearts and minds of God’s children for service in His world. General Purpose: Bradenton Christian School is looking for a Christ-centered Database Manager in our Advancement Department to faithfully support the school’s mission. The Advancement Database Manager will assist and support the Director of Advancement. This role must conduct all duties and responsibilities in a professional manner and with confidentiality due to the sensitive nature of the information that they will work with.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with implementation of Blackbaud Raisers Edge Database
  • Maximize Use of Blackbaud’s Fundraising and Relationship Management Database to develop streams of revenue outside of tuition
  • Manage the database and data entry in a manner that will accurately track donor information in order to ultimately increase number of donors, number of gifts, and total dollars raised to help BCS fulfill its mission
  • Ensure data integrity is maintained and develop regular data clean-up procedures
  • Provide research prospective donors for advancement campaigns
  • Run advanced queries fully utilizing our database reporting capability
  • Maintain records of all charitable giving
  • Enhance and maintain alumni records for charitable giving and endowments
  • Comply with audits of giving records
  • Partner with admissions to determine opportunities for new family giving
  • Work closely with the Director of Accounting to strategically align financial needs with specific opportunities for charitable giving

Education, Experience, And Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
  • Prior database mgmt. experience is required, Blackbaud specific experience is desired
  • Relationship Mgmt and Fundraising experience preferred
  • Able to hold sensitive information in strict confidence
  • Have attention to detail in working with data
  • Be a team player with a desire to help and serve others
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
