Preventing folks from creating another TR registration before the registration information page?

We are encountering a situation whereby folks are trying to register for an event more than once, and TR is overwriting their constituent information with that of a family member.



Our organization offers member discounts on TR registrations, so what we think is happening is that after registering themselves, people are logging out, then logging in again, and trying to register a family member. TR stops them eventually, but based on our analysis of the C360 Interaction log, not before their Contact info is changed to that of their family member. We end up with some weird results in the duplicate management queue.



Is there some way we could stop them from doing this at the participation options page? and prevent them from continuing on to the next page?
