Summary

The Campaign and Stewardship Coordinator serves as a key member of the Advancement team by supporting the Vice President in executing BC High’s capital campaign and ongoing donor stewardship strategies. The Coordinator will provide high-level administrative support to the VP and will collaborate closely across the Advancement team, school leadership, and the school community to support all campaign and stewardship activities. The incumbent will have significant interaction with internal and external constituencies including BC High’s President and Cabinet, Trustees, donors and faculty/staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Model Advancement team values of collaboration, teamwork, professionalism and mutual respect to build a culture of trust within a high performing team
  • Provide high-level, proactive administrative support for Vice President including but not limited to managing calendar, scheduling and supporting meetings, making travel arrangements and creating itineraries, and managing expenses
  • Working closely with the Senior Director of Campaign and Major Gifts and campaign counsel, coordinate internal campaign meetings and volunteer campaign committee activities including scheduling, agendas, meeting minutes, and follow up communications
  • Under the guidance of the Vice President, manage campaign and stewardship projects as assigned by engaging key internal and external stakeholders, monitoring and reporting on progress, and raising/resolving issues that arise to ensure that initiatives move forward on schedule
  • Draft and/or edit briefings, campaign proposals, donor impact reports, endowment reports, presentations and other internal and external communications both written and digital
  • Utilizing Raisers Edge NXT, enter data for Vice President including actions/contact reports, proposals, and other constituent information; run reports, queries/exports, email and mail merges, and dashboards
  • Provide support for major gifts and donor stewardship events including using Raisers Edge NXT Events module to track attendance/run RSVP reports, produce nametags, provide on-site assistance at events as requested
  • Engage with BC High community to stay current on key happenings and the School’s strategic direction
  • Serve as an ambassador for BC High’s Advancement department to colleagues within the school community as well as local, regional and national events
  • Other duties as assigned; some weekend/evening work is required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years of professional administrative experience required, experience in a fundraising or advancement department strongly preferred
  • Exceptional writing, communication, interpersonal, project management skills are required
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, digital communication tools, and databases is required, proficiency in Raiser’s Edge fundraising software is strongly preferred
  • Ability to anticipate and respond to campaign and stewardship needs in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across internal and external constituencies
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects with high attention to organization and detail
  • Ability to work outside of regular business hours when necessary
