Salary Range: $75,000.00 To 80,000.00 Annually

The Entertainment Community Fund (formerly The Actors Fund), a nationwide human services organization that helps all professionals in performing arts and entertainment, seeks an Advancement Systems Database Administrator to manage all Advancement Department data systems, including Raiser’s Edge, donor ticketing and marketing databases and associated online portals. The Advancement Systems Database Administrator will supervise the Advancement Systems team, provide staff training as necessary, and administer and enforce policies and procedures for gift entry, donor acknowledgements, and report generation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Advancement Systems Database Administrator will supervise the Advancement Systems team and all Advancement Department data systems. This position will evaluate, oversee, and maintain integration and maintenance of data systems as well as ensuring database integrity.

The Administrator will work with vendors during migrations and implementation of new software and establish and enforce policies and procedures. The Administrator will demonstrate competencies in data architecture, knowledge of latest software features and products, project management and staff supervision.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Generate both internal and external lists and exports for all events, direct-response mailings and email appeals, annual reports, newsletters and other requested information
  • Maintain all aspects of donor financial record keeping and relationship data entry, including code logic, site-specific data, timely recording of gifts
  • Maintain rules and procedures documentation for databases and sync all databases to ensure data is up to date in all systems
  • Collaborate with outside consultants and empower all users to utilize all database systems
  • Create online forms using HTML and CSS and track form revenue based on campaigns
  • Run routine queries, generate ad hoc lists, and fulfill data requests as needed
  • Provide backup data entry and acknowledgement processing

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of four to five years’ experience in fundraising database management position of a comparable mid to large-sized non-profit organization

PREFERRED QUALITIES

  • Experience with Raiser’s Edge NXT, Luminate Online, Omatic, Crystal Reports, Tableau and AudienceView.
  • Experience managing API integrations.
  • Competency with HTML, CSS and Excel
  • Recent or imminent bCRE Certification

This is a full-time salaried or hourly position based in the Entertainment Community Fund’s National Headquarters Office in Times Square, New York City.
