POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Donor Engagement Manager and working closely with all Gifts and Gratitude staff, the Gifts and Gratitude Associate will assume primary administrative responsibility for Kripalu's donor management systems. S/he will manage all Raiser’s Edge database functions and coordinate technical aspects of Kripalu’s development efforts, including gift processing and appeals, reporting, generating acknowledgment letters and annual donor stewardship.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Administer and maintain Raiser’s Edge database functions, including but not limited to gift processing and acknowledgement, and donor and constituent records.
  • Serve as liaison to Finance, including invoice submission, credit card reconciliation, and monthly reporting.
  • Create lists for appeals, mailings, events, and other projects as necessary
  • Provide comprehensive reports evaluating the effectiveness of solicitations, donor acquisition and other strategic benchmarks.
  • Support other members of the development staff as needed.
  • Other duties as necessary.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree or related experience.
  • 1-3 years of database-related experience with non-profit organization(s) preferred.
  • Experience with Raiser’s Edge preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other basic software.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and anticipate needs.
  • Ability to identify new opportunities and potential challenges to achieving a stated goal.
  • Excellent conceptual and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and work quickly on multiple projects as well as prioritize.
  • Exceptional judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality.

RETENTION BONUS

$500.00 FT paid out after 90 days and if the candidate is in good standing.
