IT Support & Data Specialist
Regular, Full-time position

Position Overview:
Reporting to the Director of IT, the IT Support & Data Specialist supports, maintains and develops school wide database systems. This role will also provide direct technical support and training to staff, students, and parents; install, repair, and maintain computers, AV equipment, and other school devices and equipment; and document processes, procedures, and software developed in-house. If you enjoy a varied career, no two days are the same as this role will be part database administrator and engineer, part analyst and developer and part help desk support, with a healthy dose of project management thrown in. The IT Support & Data Specialist is responsible for keeping the school’s data systems working together effectively, assisting departments and end users to find and use the data they need, and developing new data systems as necessary. What You’ll Bring
You will hold a Bachelor’s degree in systems, database management, information science or related field however, a combination of education, training and experience may be considered. Experience is desired in the application of best practices in database design and maintenance as well as scripts, API’s and data importing/exporting to synchronize information between applications. Database management certification(s) are preferred. You will be friendly and personable, able to listen to and understand end user needs, have a great technical mind for organizing and managing the transfer of data between systems, and for distilling end user requests into actionable technical specifications.
