Pledge Comparison Report Year-over-Year

I have been trying to manipulate both Raiser's Edge reports and web view Dashboards to give results that approximate a report we used to be able to easily generate in ACS. Essentially, we need to know who pledged (or not) this year vs. last, and amount or percentage difference in both number of pledges received and total amount pledged between both years. If anyone has insight I'd be grateful.
