Anyone else experiencing this lately?

We are Azure hosted. I am RE admin.

This is what I am getting, usually twice, when I go to open database from webview. Started recently and tends to connect to db view the third attempt.

Anyone else?

  • @JoAnn Strommen Hi JoAnn, yes, I have experienced the same thing over the past few weeks. By the 2nd or 3rd attempt I'm able to connect to db.

  • @JoAnn Strommen, Ditto. I usually wait about 15 minutes and try again, and it resolves. I assumed it meant the Blackbaud servers were overloaded with heavy traffic.

  • @JoAnn Strommen Thank you for posting this. I have also and usually a reboot alleviates the issue. I thought it was a local Citrix issue, but this makes me think otherwise.

    @JoAnn Strommen I have been experiencing this pretty regularly in the last 3-4 weeks, but had never seen it before then. Or if I did it was so rare that I've forgotten.

    Knowledgebase offers the typical suggestions.

  • @JoAnn Strommen I've also been experiencing this for about the same time as others mentioned. And the usual remedies that others have listed (clear cache, log out & back in, disconnect session, etc) resolve it. I have noticed that, at least for me, it often comes up when I have been timed out of db view rather than logged out of it properly with the “exit & log out” button. So sometimes, when I know for sure that I was disconnected from db view due to inactivity, just logging into web view and actively logging out of it and then back in, resolves the issue.

  • @JoAnn Strommen I get this a few times per week, yes. Usually by the third or fourth time I try, I'm able to log-in.
