THE POSITION:
The Advancement Associate's primary responsibility is to accurately process daily
donor gifts, pledges, and pledge payments in the Blackbaud Raiser's Edge database.
The Associate will also support many aspects of the Advancement Office's
administrative functions.
Salary will be competitive with schools and other non-profits of a similar size. In
addition to common employee benefits including health insurance subsidized by Saint

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Process daily gifts, pledges, and confirm matching gifts with donors and
employers
● Create, track, and mail acknowledgments.
● Reconcile pledges, cash flow, and fund balances with the Business office each
quarter
● Generate queries, exports, and lists in Raiser's Edge as needed by the office
● Support the office solicitations and reminders (e.g., Annual Fund, capital, and
other special campaigns).
● Process event registrations and assist with reporting and nametag preparation.
● Assist with preparations for events, including receptions, Golf tournament, and
the Gala. Provide on-site support as needed.
● Screen incoming gift materials for biographical and contact-related updates,
including employment and spouse relationships.
● Update alumni and donor records based on information received by various
sources (gift documentation, phone calls, returned mail, etc.) and populate all
appropriate data fields where information is available.
● Ensure fields such as Name Formats (Addressee/Salutation) are current
according to most recent donor communication; clean and streamline where
possible; maintain accurate names for recognition and publication purposes.
● Update biographical information relative to births and deaths.
● Order, track, and mail "Future Pioneer T-shirts" as requested.
● Update student and faculty attributes: awards, clubs, activities
● Various administrative needs, including answering phones, proofing, filing,
mailings, etc.
● Participate in regular department meetings
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
The successful candidate is committed to Catholic education and will be able to
demonstrate that he or she has a proven track record of integrity, flexibility,
collaboration, and transparency in the workplace.

● Non-profit experience preferred
● Bachelor's degree is required
● A demonstrated proficiency with the Blackbaud Raiser's Edge database, min 2
years or Blackbaud RE7 certification is required
● Strong computer skills with proficiencies in Microsoft Office and Google
Workspace
● Highly organized with an attention to detail
● Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
● Willing to learn and take on new tasks
● Respect for confidential and sensitive donor information is essential
● Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines; ability to
understand the needs and priorities of the Advancement office
● Strong interpersonal skills and professional and customer service demeanor

The interviews will take place in three rounds:
● Round One: A one-on-one screen with a member of the Advancement team,
which may happen on campus or via Zoom, during the day or after hours.
● Semi-Finalists: Semi-finalists will be invited to meet with members of the
Advancement Team
● Finalist: Finalists will meet with the Headmaster, Principal, and Chief Financial
Officer.
● Offer: We plan to make an offer by the end of October for an immediate start.
