Direct Mail Companies

Options

Does anyone have an recommendations of a non-profit direct mail company? We are looking at having our direct mail done out of the house and looking for recommendations on what others are doing.

Thanks,

  • @Adam Eggert, the cheapest mail companies are on the coasts because they handle vast quantities of direct mail and their bulk material costs are lower. However, you lose time in delivery, adding up to a week for delivery to the inner states. If most of your constituents are concentrated in the Dakota/Midwest areas, a local vendor might be best. We use NextPage in KC, whom I can highly recommend, but that is probably too far south for you. (They are excellent in keeping us up to date on tech-savvy options like informed delivery, variable images, donor profiling services, and unique mailer designs. Ask for Josh Shelton and tell him I sent you. ? )

If your constituents are scattered nationally, a mailing house on the coast can provide better cost savings. Our sister monastery uses Acuity; They are not as innovative or personal as NextPage but they are cost-efficient. But I am not experienced enough with other coastal vendors to provide a comparison.
