Importacular

Options

I'm curious whether anyone here has tried or is now using Importaular software. My organization recently contracted with Classy and is looking for a vendor that can connect to Raiser's Edge using SKY API. Please leave your feedback. Thank you very much.

  • @Sheila Wortham We utilize the free part of Importacular and love it. We have been using it for a few years. It is easy to work with and has options for many different sources. Although we tend to use an Excel file for our integration source.

  • @Sheila Wortham I use Importacular almost every day. It's been a massive game-changer. We pay a little more for the Participants add-on for our many events, but the free options are pretty robust. Happy to answer any questions you may have. Totally worth investing in.

@Sheila Wortham We also use just the free option, but it is so helpful. Many of our connections are still Excel files, but we do use the direct integration with GiveCampus and it has been great!

  • @Sheila Wortham We also use Importacular, its a brilliant plug in. It's changed the way we work and saved huge amounts of time. Very worth while having.

  • @Dan Snyder This is beneficial! I utilized the free version, which is really restricted. I'm interested to see how this might function with Classy.

  • @Bobby Steurer; Are you using flat files for events? We are in the midst of transitioning from Online Express to Classy for contribution forms and events (crowdfunding and peer to peer). I'm comparing the product with Omatic software - in which I find Omatic pricey.

  • @Kelly Garwood Thank you Kelly for your feedback. I've used the free version which is very limited and am trying to get away from using flat files or CSV/Excel.

  • @Sheila Wortham we just did our first Importacular mapping with Classy yesterday and are very pleased with the results! Brought in Attributes/Custom Fields, Addresses, Phone/Email and wasn't horrible about matching constituents based on the data. It may take a second to match up the Field Names from Classy as they don't match up to the export we have typically used, but they have been adding lots of different field options and we haven't taken the time to explore them all.

Can't wait to see what else it can do!! ?
