Here is the kit for the Housefile-Building Campaign which includes guides, html templates and some implementation instructions. We're currently busy on finishing version 2.0 of this kit with new designs and will post it here soon so sign up for email notifications to this thread to be notified as soon as they’re available.

Some important things:

1) A Brett Favre autographed football -- this is a really great give-away prize.

2) The kick-off message gets sent to a broad audience (we typically send the kick-off message to the entire housefile)

3) For the contacts who have signed up they are automatically assigned to a group (the Convio survey that they fill out to enter is associated with a Convio group). For any messages that should go to contacts that aren't yet signed up what we do is: send the email message to the broad audience (typically the entire housefile) but the Do Not Mail list has the Convio group of contacts who have already signed up meaning that they will be suppressed.

4) All of these email messages will also have the interest opt-out group on the Do Not Mail list. The email campaign is associated with a Convio interest, so any contacts who click on the unsubscribe link will have an option to opt out of emails specific to the contest (as well as an option to opt out of all email from your organization). Because the Email Campaign is associated with this interest, all unsubscribe links will give the user both of these opt out options -- it is important that we ensure to have the Interest opt-out group on the Do Not Mail list.
