SM_Welcome Series Examples

Options

Here are some recent examples of welcome series messages from clients in the Go! program. I'd love to hear some dialog on what folks see as strengths and weaknesses of these examples and this format. Keep in mind that this is the first point of contact for your online supporters - we want to introduce them to the "voice" of your organization in a way that is personal, reinforces your brand, and makes an emotional connection to your mission. Not an easy task, to say the least!

Many clients also find it challenging to stay within the word count we recommend in the welcome series guide. Viewing your content in an online format quickly gives you a sense of how important (and challenging) it is to be concise. I once worked for a lawyer who loved to say "I'm sorry, but I don't have time to be brief". It's tempting (and easier) to say everything rather than narrow your message down to what is most important to say.

Yellowstone Park Foundation: Message #1 - Message #2

MitoAction: Message #1 - Message #2

Gillette Children's Foundation: Message #1 - Message #2

Colorado Children's Chorale: Message #1 - Message #2

I'm posting these examples on behalf of clients in the Go! Program. Does anyone else have examples (their own or others out on the web) they're willing to share?
