Management of Fundraiser Portfolio & Actions

Hi! I currently meet with our major gift officer quarterly to create upcoming actions for constituents in her portfolio. These actions then show up in her work center, and I also create a custom report in Excel for her weekly of upcoming actions as she likes to have it printed out.

Does anyone have any good ways to report on upcoming actions to help the major gift officer segment them? Also, any good ways to enter the actions once complete? Since our gift officer typically prints out the action report, the actions already in RE don't always get updated.

    What worked for us was writing our own training manual with just the information they need. We also had a training session to go over everything. Blackbaud training talks more about what they think our best practices should be rather than give an overview about how the software works. Their best practices don't always coincide with what we think they should be.
