Website support for campaign

Options

Does anyone know if we build a page on our website to support this campaign? If so, do you have any examples? Is it helpful to run the campaign on the homepage in addition to the emails, or does that detract from the viral aspect of the campaign?

  • Hi Patti,

Promoting the campaign on your homepage is a great idea and it definitely helps get more attention on the campaign. It won't detract. Any website "real-estate" that you can use to promote this campaign once it does launch will help the campaign get more attention - so we'll be encouraging you to promote the campaign by putting a link to the main landing page on any part of your site that you are able to influence.

When you submit your content guide, the elements that we will be building for the campaign in Convio are the following:

    1) A Convio survey (used as the initial sign up form or entry form for a give-away contest)

    2) A Convio PageBuilder page -- this page will be the main landing page and will have some simple general information as well as the above survey embedded on the page

    3) A Convio eCard Campaign -- when a user completes the survey, they will then be directed to the eCard campaign where they'll see a thank you message along with the form that they can use to start sending eCards

    4) A Convio PageBuilder page for listing the contest rules (this page is only used in the give-away model)

    5) A Convio Email Campaign -- the email campaign will have all of the email messages and of course we will also be creating a supporting Convio Email Stationery to be used for these messages.

The above list are the components that we typically build for these housefile building campaigns.
