Hi, @anita lamont and welcome to the Community! What I did when I started two years ago is went to BlackbaudU Campus and started looking for courses. They have updated things a lot since I started and have learning paths depending on your job role(s).

Blackbaud also has great curriculum lists depending on what product(s) you have. Once you choose your product you will get a PDF listing all the courses. I recommend working on the certifications first for Fundamentals and then Professional in RE. These give you a great basis to build knowledge. If you also have NXT they have separate trainings for that, since the DB view and NXT work differently.

Without knowing your specific role(s) or what you want to learn, it's difficult to recommend specific courses. Some of them are shorter, maybe 30 minutes. If you have the Learn More or Learn Everything added to your package, all the courses are included, which is huge. I did so many trainings my first year I know we got our money's worth!

The Community is also a great resource. If you have a question on something it may very well have already been asked. If not, ask away and you will likely get several perspectives on solving it.

Feel free to ask anything. That's why we're here!

I recommend you check out the How-To documentation available on Blackbaud's website, specifically the User Guides (https://www.blackbaud.com/training-support/support/howto/raisers-edge#guides). Additionally, Knowledgebase Articles another great resource (https://kb.blackbaud.com/knowledgebase/).

You're in the right place. I think the best thing to do is to determine which aspect of your job duties you want to start with. @Austen Brown has an excellent suggestion to look at user guides and some of the videos on the Blackbaud site. I can't really recommend the training passes too much, but they are worthwhile iff your organization already has a subscription.

However, I think the best resource is going to be the people around you at your organization. Shadow people, and see how things are done at your org. I think that there's so much to learn if there is already a resource near you. Also, search online to see if there is a RE user group in your area. You'd be surprised to see how many people are using this platform.

I was just like you and I still need to learn so much more and build on what I have learned so far. The Blackbaud University has training classes and I also printed out the manuals (user guides) that give you step by step instructions and guides. Also consulting with others users who have more experience has been so helpful. Have a great weekend ?
