Planned Giving - Investment?

Hi there!

I have a donor who is currently invested in a project of ours and anticipates passing away before the investment matures. He wants the matured funds to come back to our non-profit, so we want to indicate that in RE somewhere. The problem is, we don't know exactly what the amount will be or when the funds will be coming in. Any ideas on the best place to store this data within his constituent profile?

We enter ours as a planned gift. In this case I would enter the amount as 0 or .01.

oh that's a good idea! what date do you enter the gift under? just the date of entry?
