Action Alert - Edit Email/FAX to Targets

Question: Is there any way to format, edit or customize what is sent to the Target(s) in an Action Alert? Not necessarily for the constituent to edit but for the Convio Administrator like a standard template.

The reason for this question is that we, as an advocacy org, both have constituents send to legislators and we also as part of our work send directly to legislators, too. We want to be able to access the legislators database and send Email/FAX to them through Convio.

Hi Bruce,

No, currently the Convio Advocacy product does not support formatted Action Alert messages. This is primarily due to the fact that the Action Alert may be sent to many different types of legislators, some of which require messages to be submitted to them through a webform rather than an email address. The vast majority of legislator webforms only accept plain text for the message section on their webform.
