How do you insert a tell a friend link for an advocacy alert into an email?

I send out a biweekly newsletter, and I want to insert a tell a friend link that goes with one of our advocacy alerts to get some list growth. Thus far I've found how to insert an advocacy alert through links, but not how to insert a tell a friend link for that alert - any help would be greatly appreciated!

You cannot link directly to the Action Alert TellAFriend page (i.e. the one a user would land on upon submitting the action alert), but you can use your site's general TellAFriend form to allow users to send a link to an action alert or any page (whether it's hosted on your Convio site or otherwise) as:
