Luminate Organization Gifts

Hello!


My organization recently enable Organization Gifts in Luminate Online.  How can I pull a report displaying only Organization Gifts and not Individual gifts? Even when I pull a Donation report by transactions it does not list Organization Gifts.

Hey Angelica,


You'll have to create a Report Writer report. When you get to the filters step, set the filters to Gifts > Donor Type and you'll be able to select Organization gifts.


If you need help using Report Writer, I recommend taking the Luminate Online: Report Writer course through Blackbaud University. The next session is being offered in a few weeks.

Hey Angelica-

I agree with Allison. Definitely invest the time in the Report Writer training as that tool gives you so much power in pulling data you need in Luminate Online. With that said, a CSM colleague created the attached document that walks you through the fields you need in the report writer report to pull those org gifts as well as getting them into RE.


We also have a Luminate Online adoption session next month that will walk you through Reporting Tips in Luminate Online. It is not a replacement for the training in Blackbaud University but will definitely guide you in best practices and some of our favorite reports to help your organization get the data it needs. In addition to the comments above, you can check out the Gift Summary by Organization Report in Report Writer. That report pulls an aggregated total of organization gifts. 


On the Sample Gift Summary by Organization Report help page, you can also see a few variations for this report that you can use, including how to run the report to show the total donations for all organizations.
