Giving Thanks, for BlackBaud!

Normally I'm not the cheesy, gushy type. I don't shop by brand loyalty, and I don't rave about my favorite products on Facebook. But this month I've had a close encounter with a small private database developer, and the comparison has left me overflowing with gratitude for all my well-beloved RE features and tools. So here goes:

Thank you, BlackBaud -- for the no-brainer function of including constituent ID numbers in my exports.
Thank you, BlackBaud -- for not imposing personal preference ideas on your clients about how salutations must be formatted and which records can be included in mailing lists.
Thank you, BlackBaud -- for including must-have tools such as import interfaces and full-field exports.

In other words, thank you, BlackBaud -- for giving me full and functional control over my data.

Yesterday I was reading an interview with Rachel Hutchinsson and I spent the rest of the day wrestling with how my organization can add some of the Blackbaud's five values into our work lives we have a wonderful set of collegial conduct rules an amazing mission statement and fundamental beliefs.
