Identifying Individual Relationships that should have been Assigned Solicitors

Options
Has anyone had experience identifying constituent's who should have been marked in the Relationships>Assigned Solicitors, but were instead on the Relationships>Individual instead?

How can I identify the constituent name and IDs, and get an output (query or export) for review?

Thanks,

Chris

  • Assuming these would have been entered as constituent relationships, not non-constituent relationships, I would look for individual relationships where the relationship's 'individual import ID' is the same as one of your canvassers' constituent import IDs. I think you'd need a separate query to get a list of those IDs first; I already have one set up since I often need their import IDs for other things such as importing action canvassers.

My ID query's just got criteria of 'constituent is a canvasser equals yes' and then their constituent import IDs in the output. Export that list, then create a second constituent query and add criteria of Relationships > Individuals > Individual Import ID > One Of, then paste in your list of IDs that you just exported. Some of the results from that query might be false positives, if people are relatives/friends/colleagues and genuinely have non-canvasser relationships with other constituents.

If there's a chance that they've been entered as non-constituent relationships, I would try checking for relationships with no relationship type or where the individual's name matches the name of one of your solicitors, but again I imagine that'll bring up a number of false positives (unless your data's cleaner than mine!)
  • Chris,

Probably, you could try creating a "Relationship" query using Date Last Changed/Individual Date Changed/Last Changed By/etc. to isolate this population ?
