Hi,


I enabled Blackbaud Checkout and only see the standard payment option and the choice for Masterpass only.   Is that the only new option?  I thought we would see Apple Pay as well.

This is exactly what is happening to us. We haven't downloaded the Apple Pay steps yet, but I thought we were supposed to see Visa Checkout?

We haven't added Apple Pay yet either, but yes, we only see Masterpass, not Visa Checkout.

Ok I think maybe this is the issue:

A weekly global change is run across all provisioned Blackbaud Merchant Services accounts, which enables these digital wallets for use. If you do not immediately see Visa Checkout and MasterPass available for use, it can take up to a week after you've provisioned your Blackbaud Merchant Services account to be provisioned with Visa Checkout and MasterPass.


- So maybe it will take a week to see Visa Checkout?

Like you I only
see Masterpass.  I am on a chat with BB and they sent this KB
article https://kb.blackbaud.com/articles/Article/190929#applepaysetup. 
  Some
steps need to be taken to activate Apple Pay.  There is also
an outage right now with Visa Checkout which is probably why we do
not see it : https://status.blackbaud.com/

 

I am a bit
confused on Apple Pay but will entertain the KB article with our
website host.  Keep you posted!!

Christine Prete‍ was right on both accounts. Apple requires an additional "domain ownership" verification step and the KB article she links to is the correct one to follow.


There was also an issue with Visa Checkout so we temporarily disabled that digital wallet so as to not degrade the rest of the checkout experience while the issue was occurring. It looks like this has since been resolved so you should see Visa Checkout again as a payment method.

Does anyone have an example of how the form looks with MasterPass, Visa Checkout, and Apple Pay? I am having trouble finding one.

Chris, hoping you can shed some light on a specific issue I am having. The issue I have is that the Credit Card button in your screenshot does not do anything when you click it.

That is really confusing for donors.  Did you figure any way around that?


As a donor, when I see a button that says Credit Card, I assume that means a credit card donation.


I did a BB chat and they said that is just how it is.

We also have an issue with the popup you get when clicking payment.  It appears dark gray and looks as though the popup has frozen.  The actual white box to complete is way at the top and if someone doesn't know to scroll up they don't see it at all!  Can the popup box be made smaller?  It's even worse on mobile.

Hi Chris Martin‍ - Do you have any tips on getting Apple Pay up & running for online express forms? We have followed the steps here (https://kb.blackbaud.com/articles/Article/190929?&_ga=2.38428715.904578159.1604914445-1367108309.1595326870#applepaysetup) several times but the file never seems to provision correctly, even after 48 hours. We don't know what we are doing wrong or what could be the issue.

Our forms are set up with OLX and our website was created within Wordpress. Our BBMS account is active and successfully taking other types of payments, including from digital wallets such as Visa Checkout. We do also use SmartPayments to accept payments via paypal. Are there any compatibility issues with wordpress sites? Or with the SmartThing plugin? Any insight on how we can trouble shoot would be appreciated?


Also, worth noting, we've tested on multiple Apple devices, all with Apple Pay set up and still no luck.
