Dashboards "locking" up forever...?

Just curious if anyone else has had this happen.  I've now had two (relatively lengthy) Dashboards kind of "lock up" and become completely unable to load.  I end up needing to create them from scratch using all the Insights from before. 


Here's my wild guess:  I suspect it might have something to do with building a Dashboard and then later tweaking (or maybe deleting?) an old insight, thinking it's not being used.... So when the Dashboard is loaded it gets "stuck" looking for a deleted insight and never completes loading.  The problem is I can't even edit the report/dashboard (can we pleeeeese use one word) in Insight Designer because it locks up there as well....

  • This problem eventually, magically, solved itself about three weeks later.  I'm starting to have other issues with various Insights not loading or coming up with errors.  When I refresh the dashboard it sometimes loads fine... sometimes doesn't.  


    I'm getting nervous about NXT Dashboard stability....
  • I just experienced every insight on a dashboard not working and throwing the "Insight...unknown error..." warning.  It was working yesterday and no changes were made since the 17th.


    I am supposed to be using this particular dashboard in a training presentation to Dean's and VP's on the 30th.  I will be very unhappy, and look very unprofessional, if something like this happens the morning of...
  • Oooo!  Larry, we just experienced the same thing!  I had a 30 minute chat with Blackbaud and they couldn't figure it out.  We figured all our dashboard were suddenly corrupted at the same time.  NEW dashboards with old Insights work fine.  I figured there was a system-wide issue, but my support guy wasn't aware of anything.. yet.


     
  • All of your dashboards?  That is definitely not good.   Only one of mine, so far, has shown this problem (which is odd).  I am concerned with this software long-term. 
  • Yes, this has happened. I was also on a discovery call with BB yesterday about the reporting and several of my dashboards didn't load. Not all, however. They thought it may have been being on webex and sharing my screen.  I just tried those same dashboards this morning and the issue is still there.
