Good morning,


I was wondering you code "donor advised"  as.  Do you use corporation, organization or a specific donors advised fund constituency code.  It such a gray area I am not sure what these should be coded. Any tips would be appreciated.  Thank you!!!

We typically code them as a Foundation or Family Foundation.  We don't specifically give all donor advised funds the same codes because, honestly, we sometimes aren't 100% sure of the arrangement.  For us it rarely comes up as an issue.

We added a constituency code: Donor Advised Fund. They are typically soft credited and cross-linked to the IND donor record.
