Alumni Participation Percentage

Hey everyone, so I am working on our annual report for the year and ran into a good question from a couple co-workers. When running the alumni participation report by class do you include the non-grads in the percentage rate or no? We are going to include their names on the report under their class but wasn't sure if we include them when getting the percentage?

To me, the question is - how do you treat them?  Are they treated as alums?  Are they solicited as alums?  If the answer to those questions is yes, then I would include them in your participation percentage.  That is what we do.

Thank you and yes they are treated like alumni. When we run anything for alumni we include the non-grads also. Thank you for your response and help!!
